The Ultimate Wellness Gift Guide

I am a big gift person, it’s definitely one of my love languages and I cannot help but always want to gift people things or bring over treats I have baked as an offering to feel like I am sharing my love for them. I think this habit comes from my parents and grandparents who would always give gifts of thanks to everyone in our lives (but I really mean everyone). We would give gifts to our hairdresser and our teacher, or my grandma would gift the fish person at her local grocery store with a box of chocolates. There was basically nothing that a box of chocolate could not solve. I try to continue with this tradition by offering small boxes of chocolates, a card, or a bottle of wine to my closest non-family contacts (my acupuncturist, my yoga studio, etc.) because it makes me feel good to thank them for their existence in my life. So for me, during the holidays especially, gifts still play a hugely important role because it lets me express some form of appreciation, love and kindness to the people in my environment.

So of course I wanted to craft a small gift guide which works for the holidays but also for any other time of the year. I think it’s so special to celebrate this season with the spirit of well-being by choosing to give something local or sustainable, or self-care and wellness retailed. Not only do these gifts have the potential support an individuals’ wellness goals; they are also sustainable, natural, non-toxic and can elevate anyone’s health and wellness routines to a next level. These items are absolute must-haves (and not just for wellness junkies like myself) and no one will be regifting them. From health and wellness essentials, to gift cards from some of your favourite coffee shops or sustainable sportswear - this gift guide is curated to cater to diverse wellness preferences. Get into the joy of giving thoughtful and health-focused presents like I am!

15. Black Tourmaline Crystal:

Electromagnetic Field Radiation (EMF) is all around us and there is no way to get away from it. These chrystals are perfect gifts and I even have two, one in the office and one in the living room. Gift your loved ones the warmth and rejuvenation of a sauna session within the comfort of their own space. Find their wellness gadgets here

18. The gift of quality time:

It sounds cheesy but any gift where I do something with someone instead of just offering them a physical gift is always a memorable experience. This can be a meal at a restaurant where you treat someone to lunch or dinner, it can be a hike planned over a weekend that you specially curate for your dearest friend or family.  It is not just about the tangible physical gift-giving but its the thought process behind the gifts that counts.

Tip: Always write a little card if you can, these absolutely change the gift giving experience as it’s definitely not just about things its about the love you have for the people you want to give those gifts.

These are all gifts that I use or would honestly be incredibly grateful to receive. To me thoughtfully curated presents contribute to a holistic holiday. Even though there are so many more gifts that are non-monetary than just the last one, remember gift giving is about making someone feel special and it does not need to be store-bought. Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and healthy holiday season!
